VENUE

Just a few minutes away by car is Silves, one of the oldest towns in Portugal with its famous 1000 year old castle standing majestically on a hill overlooking the town. Silves is a picturesque town on the banks of the river Arade bustling with cafés and restaurants. It is famous for its medieval festival in August when shop-keepers and residents don medieval costumes and the town bristles with atmosphere and activity.

Another attraction is its famous cathedral Sé Velha (Old Cathedral), built in the Middle Ages using the region’s fine, red sandstone.

ACCOMMODATION

This unique resort offers accommodation of a very high level of comfort. There is a mix of 160 apartments and villas of Moorish design. Most have south-westerly views, often ablaze in deep golden sunsets.

The apartments are furnished to a high standard with the conveniences of modern-day living such as satellite television, hi-fi sound system, DVD player, under-floor heating, air-conditioning, an electric shutter system on the windows, a fully equipped kitchen and a central vacuum system.

Each apartment has a terrace.The 2 and 3 bedroom apartments have at least 2 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite to the master bedroom.

The villas all come with a private pool.

Arrival Arrangements
Clients should proceed to the Arrivals Hall at Faro Airport and present a car-hire voucher to the car-hire company. Clients who have booked a transfer should also proceed to the Arrivals Hall where a driver will be holding up a sign with the relevant name.
