Our programme is led by former Davis Cup player and top international coach Ali Yenilmez.

He has 30 years of experience coaching adults and children of all levels.

A dedicated coach with excellent communication skills, he heads a team of internationally certified coaches who share his commitment to improving and inspiring every pupil in a fun-loving atmosphere

The tennis course is a structured programme of fifteen hours of intensive instruction per week, designed for people of all ages and playing standards from beginners to the most advanced tournament players. There will be  a focus on a different shot each day.

To ensure maximum progress and compatibility, participants will be divided, where possible, into groups according to approximate ability and age. Although players will generally be grouped with people of similar standard, there will be opportunities to play with better players, and where possible, depending on level, the chance to join a session of match practice with other club players organised by Ali.. The programme will help with fitness as well as technique, so that technical progress is underpinned by the ability to get into the right position every time.

The mental aspect of tennis is equally important. Participants will learn how to overcome nerves and adopt a tougher mental attitude, that 'killer instinct' which is so vital to success on the tennis court. The programme is designed to be both informative and fun.

Technical Theme of Instruction
In addition to the focus on basic technique, fitness and mental attitude, attention will be given (particularly with more advanced players) to the "early ball technique", practised so successfully in the past by such legendary players as Cochet, Perry and Rosewall and by modern 'greats' such as Connors, McEnroe, Becker, Sampras, Hingis and now Agassi and Federer.

Making contact with the ball at an early stage of its flight gives one's opponent less time to prepare for the next shot. A good practitioner of the technique makes a smooth, energy-efficient, early contact with the ball, dominating an opponent made to feel rushed and uncomfortable. The aim is to take home a more relaxed and more authoritative game of tennis.
